The ARGOS project (http://argos.euroec.org) supported by the EC, DG Relex, under FP7 aims to establish a Transatlantic Observatory for Meeting Global Health Policy Challenges through ICT-Enabled Solutions in order to develop and promote “Common Methods for Responding to Global eHealth Challenges in the EU and the US”. Target areas addressed are: semantic interoperability, certification, impact indicators and VPH.

COCIR is happy to launch its toolkit on telemedicine comprising a position paper, a glossary of terms and a database of referenced studies demonstrating the effectiveness of telehealth solutions. The toolkit will guide starters and experts in better understanding telemedicine, its potential and the barriers to its adoption.
