Geneva to Make Massive Investment in African Telemedicine
Switzerland has always been known for the flexible nature of its "cantons" (like counties in Britain or départements in France). They have a wide range of powers to raise taxes and spend money as they see fit. Recently, the French-speaking canton of Geneva has decided to make an impressive investment with the goal to help solve problems created by African doctors moving to Europe for higher wages.
