The 4th edition of the World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition will provide unprecedented opportunities to both attendees and exhibitors, as it will be held in conjunction with the yearly eHealth High Level Conference – eHealth 2010 – which is co-organised by the European Commission, the Spanish presidency of the EU and the Catalonian regional government.
The World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition is a leading platform for eHealth in Europe, convening major stakeholders from the Healthcare IT community to engage in knowledge sharing, networking with peers and learning about the latest healthcare IT trends, challenges and solutions.
Join us in March 2010 in Barcelona for a stimulating conference programme and a cutting-edge exhibition, while government leaders will be shaping the future of eHealth policy in Europe!
Programme Highlights:
Monday, March 15 will feature the invitation only ministerial conference along with the satellite symposia.
The exhibition will officially open at lunch time, with a ministerial tour covered by the press. Following the ministerial conference, a welcoming reception will take place in the exhibit hall.
From Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18, our plenary and parallel sessions will enable delegates to interact with leading government officials and industry leaders, participate in interesting debates and learn about critical healthcare IT issues.
With themes and topics from a wide range of perspectives, the sessions will provide insights on the challenges faced by the European eHealth community, address experiences from deployed services, and focus on proven benefits in quality and efficiency.
HIMSS will join efforts with the European Commission, the Spanish Presidency and the Catalonian government to put together a multi-faceted programme, including a special focus on the Spanish and Latin American markets.
The exhibition will remain opened throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday and attendees will have the chance to discover some of the most dynamic healthcare IT solutions, participate in product tutorials, take part in the IHE Interoperability Showcase and witness new product and service launches.
Buffet lunches and coffee breaks will be provided on the exhibition floor, creating more opportunities for delegates to engage in relationship building with their peers and colleagues.
